I actually started out as a nail technician, but I quickly discovered my true passion lies in hair—and I’ve never looked back. I specialize in highlights and creative colour, and what I love most is helping people feel confident and beautiful.

Hairdressing is more than a career for me — it’s a way of life. From growing up in a salon to representing South Africa on global stages, I’ve pursued my passion through relentless training, competitions, and creativity. Highlights include winning multiple Goldwell Colorzoom awards, joining the Global Artistic Team, and becoming a Goldwell ambassador. Now based in Stellenbosch, I continue to create, share knowledge, and live the dream I’ve worked so hard to build.

Magic happens where curiosity and creativity meet. Hi, I’m Shani and my friends would say I take breaks from being a crazy cat lady to be a crazy hair lady. Truth is, they’re both a full time gig. A background in makeup and hairstyling led me to pursue a career in the salon, and I’ve never been more at home.
